it was an amazing fight, u gotta see it.

and i dont understand why u think hatton would get exposed against urango.

maybe he'd get "exposed" against castillo, but i have a strong feeling that u have never seen Urango fight. am i right?

Urango sucks, he lost to ben rabbah (who?) but got a bad decision. a terrible decision actually.

i wouldnt be surprised if URANGO goes down from a body shot, and doesnt get back up

They went basicly toe to toe all rounds. Damnn good fight. I had Campas winning first part of the fight and the last round, i wasn't really keeping track though the last round sealed it in favor of Campas.

Duddy just messed up in the last round by trying to go for the kill, Campas turned it on him and almost had him out but credit to Duddy he with stood the punchs and lasted the round.

I saw Duddy win some of the second part of the fight, he did manage to wobble Campas which surprised the hell out me, but not shocking Campas could not be taken out.

It was a very good fight, they should have put it on network television.

His power is a bit over-rated.......even though Campas moved up in weight, to even wobble Campas the way Duddy did, makes me belive he does carry some power. But if i was his trainers i would practice on defence and having a more solid technique. At times he looked wild. But I also don't think they expected Campas to put up the fight he did, Campas looked baddass in the first part and in the second part he was never out of the fight and dominted the lat 2 minutes or more of the 12 round. Very good fight.

Did anybody listen to when they said Campas only got 20 grand for Trinidad. I think against Delahoya he got 200 hundred grand and i wasn't able to hear clearly what he got for Vargas, but i would have thought he had gotten more in the Trinidad and Vargas fights and Delahoya could have broke him off with some more bread then 200 hundred grand.

I would like Campas to get a big money fight and retire, this guy could take a kick from a donkey and still be standing. He had a lot of great fights and should retire cause he does take a lot of punchs. Talking about taking punchs, Galleger said that Duddy may not be the same after the Campas fight cause it was a grulling fight and he was taking his share of punchs. I think their could be a rematch and put it on hbo bad or showtime, im sure they'd pick up the rematch.

i agree. i think duddy owes campas a rematch, and this time with fair scoring.

I have a strong feeling you only seen the Urango-Ben Rabah fight. Urango doesnt suck at all. Ben Rabah was just a terrible match up for him. Ben Rabah and Hatton are pretty close to complete opposites. The Ben Rabah fight will mean nothing when he gets in with Hatton. Watch Urango's fights when he fought guys who went toe to toe with him. I wouldnt be surprised if Hatton won either, but I actually think Urango is going to win this one.

I cannot see how Duddy was exposed!?!

Hes only had 18 fights...and only moved up the rankings so quickly because hes exciting!Hes nothing special, a good solid young energetic fighter but nothing spectacular and never was considered anything great as an amatuer in Ireland..He gets hit too easily with the jab and hes sloppy and I never expected him to get as far as he has..never mind beating Yuri Boy Campos, which considering Duddys "limited talent" is an achievment in itself!

Anyway...to all the haters who are giving Duddy a roasting..

He'll get a titleshot soon enough, due to his huge following and style but he wont get past anyone like Ikeke or Strum IMO.

This coming from a 100% Irish person!

It seems like every fight that's gone to decision in the last year has been controversial with people calling everything a robbery. I've gotta watch this fight, just to see.

I wasn't doing accurate round-by-round scoring, just kind of keeping a mental tally of who was up and by what. At the end of the fight I had Duddy clawing it back and being up by two rounds going in to the twelfth. (Remember when Duddy boxed Campas on the outside and looked like taking him out a number of times? Duddy clearly won rounds 9-11, and I had him edging enough of the others, but close). Then Campas undoubtedbly won the last round.

In all I had it 115-113 Duddy, but he was a lucky man to get to that point. Fair credit to him for turning it round.

The only sour point was I was expecting a split decision. The 115-113 score I had no issue with (obviously, as it matched my own) but the wide scores for Duddy were apochryphal.

most of the matches HAVE been robberies this year as far
as for the duddy exposed thing and how it relates to hatton...
come on guy hatton has 40+ fights undeafeated in the bag with a 2 div title to boot ... a little late to call him exposed wouldntcha say?

duddy hes young ...probably wont amount to much in the ring but an exciteing fight...than agian coulda just been an off night thank god you guys wernt around this earth when alex arguello lost his first fight or henry armstrong lost his early fights...we may have never learned of them as they would have been "exposed" rather early
