Do you regard Hatton's borderline physical infractions as "cheating"?

Funny, I've never clocked any low blows from the Paler (apart from THAT one against Zoo, of course). I was more taken with his holding Ray Oliveira's arm while hitting him.

He's not a vicious ****puncher, but he throws them a lot. They mostly land to the right or left (primarily right) of being a "money shot", more between the hip and groin than between the legs, but definitely low.

Like I said I think it's just become ingrained habit from never having a ref make him be more aware of where he's throwing. I don't think it's intentional at all.

I'm not talking about the Zoo rabbit punch, I can take that as unitentional nerves getting to him. I've never seen that before or since, I think it was an accident, he didn't know what he was doing in the spur of the moment.

I'm talking about the hitting and holding, the grabbing opponent's arms, the "lickle nudges" and all the rest of it.

That's not cheating as long as he isn't holding and hitting or trying to hurt the other guy's elbows or something, those are veteran tacticts. I personally think he doesn't need to use these tacticts since he was doing a very good job just letting his hands fly as he used to do, only on certain occassions against certain fighters he should go there, for instance if he fights a short distance puncher like Cotto? Or maybe try to rough up PBF to get some of that great stamina out of him? Not a crowd pleaser but definitely not cheating.

I think he does push the limit of what can he do, but he is nowhere near the artistic level of hopkins in that department.
