The most exciting fighter today who's out to always give an electrifying performance against anyone is indeed...overrated.

Being a big Pac fan, I think people tend to over rate him. They put him at a pedestal that he is unbeatable. Any good boxer can beat him IMHO.

The big advantage with this known big puchers is that they're opponents seem to be very cautious. And once [with the exception of Eric] tasted the big punch, they try to keep their distance and just be defensive.

I've watched some of Valero's fights and the guy can really punch. But the problem I saw is that his opponents were all seem running scared of him and they were all in the defense and not counter-punching. See what happened when Valero fought a good fighter is Mosquera, he may have won, but he got exposed. Mosquera actually nailed him and kd'd him. He just also ran out of energy. But the Mosquera took a lot big punches and took them good before being stopped.

Depends on how u rate him really.

I think if u rate him as the #1 guy in the 130 lb division he definitely is not overrated. He's earned it by both beating Barrera, and stopping (for the first time in his career i might add, old or not it deserves merit) Erik Morales.

Some of his most rabid fans however overate him with some ridiculous statements.

as a whole i guess it depends on where u place him and what u call him. But he is definitely the man to beat from 126 - 130. He only really has pending business with Juan Manuel Marquez.

Without Manny's Power, he is ****, that's like saying Erik Morales without his granite chin, he will get KTFO.

Pacquiao beat EM and MAB fair and square. Pac had a cut that limited his vision and wore Winning gloves cuz EM wanted it in the contract and Pac wasn't even ask about it on the first fight. On the 2nd fight, there were no reports of EM having weight problems. As far as MAB, Pac was just better that night. MAB was even trying to DQ Pac. MAB also hit Pac after the ref said to break it up.

If somebody's overrated, its JMM. I respect JMM as a boxer but if he is really that good, how come his fighting patsies, turned down the rematch with Pacquiao, lost to Chris John(top 10 fighter in their weight division), now won against Terdsak(who?), now calling Pac.

Ur gonna say JMM turned down the rematch because of money. If he wants million dollars pay day, JMM has to earn it, not demand it. Did MAB, EM, Pac, demanded money after their first noticeable win. Then what JMM did, earn $30,000 in a losing effort against Chris John. If Pac granted JMM a rematch, JMM should just accept what he is worth, not what he thinks.

If it's about worth than pac should be paid with a loaf of bread because he is worth nothing...only to filipinos..he is worth something but even they can't afford a loaf of bread...Jmm easy knock out against pac in 2 rounds.,,,,,
