This is the realization for ever boxer. But **** like that for some reason effects fighters differntly, some a little, some worse and for some none. For example Jake Lamotta, who took a gang of punchs, is old and has all his marbles.

What i know about the Quarry brothers besides all of them being tough as nails and taking one hell of shot and willingly, is that they had very tough sparring with each other and so on. Supposedly their dad used to make the Quarry brothers beat the **** out of each other in sparring. And as you may know, sparring can do damage too. Its ****ed up when a fighter get brain damage due to boxing, years after he has retired or recent, but thats the risk a fighter takes. And as i said for some their are no ill effecs. R.I.P to the Quarrys, i belive two of them have passed on and im not sure of the other. Jerry Quarry was one tough s.o.b, that can't be taken away from him and he had some succes in a great era of Heavyweights. And Campas will be alright, but i too would like to see him retire, he's had a great career, imo.

He should be fighting now or be the next fight, heard varcarcel fought to a draw, last time I seen him he looked horrible.
