...the movie the Great White Hype? with Samuel L. Jackson and Damon Wayans. that is a funny boxing movie, if not the only comedy based on boxing, one of the funniest things i have ever seen in a movie is at the end when Wayans' character gets rocked, he stumbles around and looks at the guy and says "you trying to embarrass me on TV?!?!" it is so funny.

This is a fun little underrated comedy, that's great for boxing fans.

I like Jamie Foxx when he says, "You can't talk to me that way. You're not my daddy....Are you?"

Another couple good (older) boxing comedies are The Milky Way (1936) starring great silent film comedian Harold Lloyd in one of his talkies & The Prize Fighter (1979) with Don Knotts & Tim Conway.

it does, but i dont want to talk about that, we have had enough ignorant people with their racism on here lately, i just like the movie, like i said, that part at the end when he says "you tryin to embarrass me on tv" makes me laugh myself out of my chair almost every time i see it. Classic.

That movie is funny. I like the part when the guy who Jamie Foxx manages tells the fat guy with the beard on Wayans' team to "shut your Pavorotti ass up!" Good stuff.

Greatest movie I have ever pulled out of the $5.50 bin at walmart...That movie is a classic....Great quotes throughout the whole movie and actually great movie....


I definatly see some underlinings of holmes vs cooney but every white man is considered hype in the heavyweight division so who cares....


I watch movies and listen to music to get entertained not to hear bull**** about ethinicity...

hahaha! i got mine out of the 5.50 bin at walmart too. it took a while before it was released on dvd and i had to pay 25 bucks for ****y bootleg a while back.
