Do you like Jim Lampley's commentating?

doesnt bother me, sometimes hes biased, but hes been there so long, its weird without him on BAD

sometimes i think he can be a bit of a cheerleader, with guys like ouma, taylor and jones. also, i think he can be a little biased and start calling punches with more dramatic effect then what was actually thrown. sometimes he'll say "AND HE ROCKS HIM WITH A THUDDING RIGHT HAND!!!!!" and it was barely a glancing blow and the fighter isn't looking hurt at all. i guess i like him, certainly alot more than that steve farhood or whatever the **** that douchebag's name is over at showtime.

the BAD crew is horrible. that black guy is god awful, and hardly ever gets excited. But i love lennox on there and kellerman is a great filler for when merchant leaves.

and i really like lampley. after cossell, his voice became the voice of boxing. He used to absolutely amazing, but now hes just good. He seems bored at times and other times he has nothing to say.

i like showtimes commentators much better. they are fresher and they get into a lot more. WHen they are excited, u get excited, and thats the purpose of a commentator

There is little doubt that Lampley is a very good sportscaster, certainly the best in the sport of boxing. He would be even better if he made a bit more effort to overcome his prejudices.

I actually like hearing that one English guy, don't know his name, but I wish he could be a commentator for American fights

it wouldn't be the same without his signature voice...

I'm not sure if Lampley is good or the rest are just terrible enough to make him look good, but he's the best out there at the moment.
