    Amir Khan fights in December

    http://www.boxrec.com/date_search.ph...06&mm=12&dd=09

He is fighting on the undercard of the WBO Featherweight title fight of Scott Harrison against Nicky Cook.

Matt Skelton will be on the undercard too.

Frank Warren said that Khan will fight for a British/EU title by the end of the year, and maybe this is it.

He is taking some time off considering how active he has been, he went to Saudi Arabia with his family for pilgrimage.

And now hes going to USA to meet Muhammad Ali and Floyd Mayweather, he will even train with Mayweather in the gym as far as I know.

In december he will be fighting for a British/European title, which means a step up...

EDIT: Also Calzaghe vs Bika is'nt really a good fight/undercard I understand, but Scott Harrison vs Nicky Cook (Who is an undefeated British fighter who has won british/european/commonwealth title) is a big fight in UK, far better than Calzaghe vs Bika, also Matt Skelton would be fighting on the undercard, Skelton recently beat Danny Williams and is soon going to face a World Champion, Also the card is not fully loaded yet, so expect more fighters, better fighters to fight on it, it would be exciting!

I'm 90% sure the Scott Harrison fight will be on Sky Sports..

But if Amir Khan is fighting on that undercard, Frank Warren might get it on ITV.

Doesn't matter to me though, I'll get to watch it regardless.

Khan gets a lot of time off for someone who only goes 1 round against bums..

Yup, which is why I'm surprised that he's skipping the October card.

In the past 12 months, Khan has fought 8 times, and he is taking 3 months off, he had a fight in September, the reason hes taking that much time because hes going to USA to meet Ali and Mayweather and he will probably be there for a month, when he returns he will train for his December bout, which is likely to be for a british/eu title as frank said, which means his opponent will be better too, thats why hes taking time off to relax a bit but when hes back he will train hard as usual for this fight
