Is there anyway to ensure that fights are not tainted?

I know it sounds pointless, but is there any legal way of keeping the fights fair...I have seen alot of bad outcomes this year with scoring and IMO it has hurt the sport in a major way. Example: I watched the Toney - Peter fight and Winky Vs Taylor fight with a friend of mine who is a casual fan...and after both fights he said the same thing "This is why we don't watch this ****" meaning casual fans think that boxing is so dishonest and bull****. In some ways i agree 100% with him and in some ways I think it's ****** to not watch if you love the sport just because of a couple questionable calls. My question is "What can truly be done?" Is there any light at the end of the tunnel or is this just gonna be the same until the demise of the sport? Or will this be the demise of the sport?

It's called having a National Boxing Regulating body with a strong Commissioner. This would ensure judging and ref uniformity. There is far to large a variance now and days between what judges look for and what refs will allow.

The fragmentation of Regulating Bodies at the very least leads to a higher perception of corruptability if not outright corruption.

Yeah its sad truth for boxing nowadays. Biased ref and judges exists. Good example is the martinez-pwill fight where sergio was robbed off the win.

They should also get rid of refs like joe cortez. I believe Hatton had a big chance of winning against floyd if this ref wasnt excessively interfering and breaking them up everytime hatton successfully got in.
