it's a good match up, i like quintana in this figiht. i think he has enough boxing skills as well as smarts to beat cotto. quintana has good ring generalship and knows that he isnt a ****er, so he ought be prepared and ready to fight the distance and fight at a fast pace.

altough cotto is talented and isnt a predictable fighter, i think that quintana has the style to cause cotto troubles. i think that cotto will do good early on in the fight then fade as quintana is harder and harder to find in the ring.

who can actually say, but all i know is that i am intrigued in this match up and look forward to a good preformance by both fighters.

      may the best man win...........

It's too bad this fight can't be held in Puerto Rico. Oh well, maybe they'll have a rematch after the winner disposes of Urkal.

...if it's a good fight, of course.

I'll be at the Boardwalk Hall going for Cotto. Cotto has a great body attack & I expect him to have carlos ribs hurting by the 3rd round.

          Cotto by TKO10.

The only fighter I've seen become stronger late in the fight against Cotto was N'dou, he kept fighting even with fractured ribs, tough mother ****er! I don't see Quintana getting stronger as the fight progress, I see him giving Cotto a lotta movement and confusing him a little bit early then after Cotto cuts the ring and times him, his body shots will win the fight, maybe not a KO.

i think this is a good test for Cotto and a major step up in competiton. I think welter is a better weight for Miguel. I think he may pull this out, but I would not be shocked to see Quintana pull off the upset. I am looking forward to this fight.

Good fight and nice to see Cotto taking on a stiff test in his first fight at 147, but like Hatton, he's jumping up in class and taking on a guy who's a very tough style match up for him, and much more risk than the reward if he wins.

                Curious choice of opponent imo.
