In NO WAY was Miranda robbed...

If you've seen the fight, you know that Arthur threw the cleaner, more accurate shots, while more than enough of Miranda's were wide and blocked. Not to mention that i feel Abraham has equal power that Miranda did as Miranda was rocked multiple times in this fight, while Abraham never once looked seriously hurt (even with a potential broken jaw). The gameplan early was simple for Abraham, let the more aggresive fighter wear himself down in the beginnings of the rounds, then, when the opening found itself, attack. And attack Arthur did, accurately and powerfully.

Exciting fight any way you look at it. Hopefully more American fight fans can get their hands on this fight.

this was FAR from a robbery.. Abraham won the fight, clearly and fairly

The truth mostly lies in Miranda himself after the fight... did he look like a guy who thought he won the fight? Not at all, in fact, i was happy to see the two show respect to one another after all the garbage pre-fight..

I want to see this fight.I have read so many conflicting reports on it,it seems the only way to find out what happened is watch it for yourself.I did think/hope Miranda would win but if he was as dirty as I have read I don't like or support fighters like that.

Robbery? Well I did think Miranda was unfairly treated, and that Abraham got too many breaks

        Drama? Check.

Courage? Not IMO, Yes Abraham fought with a broken jaw,but like I said,I thought he got alot of breaks/rests, and he really played it up when he got a chance so he could rest.

I didn't see this FOTY a couple of you guys are seeing. I read big things about this fight and saw nothing to support comments like that. I think somebody on the main page even wrote how this was a disgraceful title fight. Basically, Abraham was better, Miranda was dirty, and it was a great showing of heart from Abraham. Other than that, this fight was nothing special.

I don't know restless I watched it last night and although I am shocked Miranda could not stop him while he had a broken jaw for 7 or 8 rounds.....I do think it should have been stopped when the DR suggested and I think Miranda would have won easily had it not been for all of the point deductions.Yeah Abraham landed some flush shots but he did not do **** most of the fight except a few flurries here and there.I admire Abraham for his heart and courage but showed little more other than heart and courage. Both fighters were looping punches wildly often and the only real difference was Abraham does have much better D but I think thats just because Miranda does not give a **** if he gets hit or not.

like a mentioned somewhere else, a veteran move on his part.. he did so well in the first 3/4s of the fight.. why

no one has any idea of the pain/suffering caused from the broken jaw (and it's confirmed he had one), so it was couragous, by itself, that Abraham went on to fight a whole complete 2nd half of that fight with it.. and when you think about it, Arthur didn't start holding and moving until those last 3 rounds, in rounds 7-9 he fought the same has he did before the jaw broke..

In pure boxing quality, hell no was this a good fight

the reason it gets FOTY potential is how exciting it was and how full of drama it was.. you basically nailed it suttlely in the bolded sentence.. but there was a big deal of emotion throughout

I can understand that argument.. it seemed to be a pretty confusing situation when it happened... i don't think you're giving Abraham enough credit, he's got a style that's not necessarily appealing to everyone, he likes to counter and when he does, he's got incredible accuracy and power, he's not a "throw punches consistent" type of fighter, he looks for a hole and makes you pay. And Miranda's 'early-aggresive' style is taylor-made for that

I never saw many wild punches from Abraham, and i think stats would show that if they were available.. while i liked what Miranda would do on the inside, his other punches were all looking for a KO with no build up in them. Boxing-wise, Abraham wins hands down. Abraham obviously had a respect for the power of Miranda (as is obviously in the final few rounds of this fight)

I mean I don't see how this is at all comparable to Brewster-Liakhovich or Mormeck-Bell. I mean Brewster fought 11 rounds with one eye and that fight was way more exciting.
