Are you sure that's right? I think Reid only got 1 point for his butt in the Lacy fight, same with Barrera when he slammed Hamed into the post.

I think if the ref calls it intentional, 2 pts is correct.
The problem I have is that the ref was going to let it go with a warning. When it happened he broke them apart and said "Watch the heads". He was than ready to do nothing else and let them engage. He looked towards Abraham and AA started walking to his corner holding his head. Now things change and the ref walks to Abraham and than to the supervisor and calls an intentional headbutt.

If Abraham would have gone back to fight and not walk away, nobody would even remember the whole headbutt thing. It happens many times in fights worse than this with no points being taken away. bull**** stuff man!

It looked intentional to me, but I'm going to have to watch the fight because it looks as if A.A. might have rabbit punched him right before the head butt which prompted him to react in that way.

Intentional headbutts are always two points. Same with any offensive move like a body slam or something. Kind of ridiculous how a low blow is just 1 point when it can be so much more damaging.

Did Maussa have two points deducted when he threw that lunging headbutt at Vivian Harris? I don't remember if there were points deducted. I do remember it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
