    WBA Rules in Ruiz's Favor

LAS VEGAS – The World Boxing Association’s Executive Board recently ruled in favor of two-time world heavyweight champion John “The Quietman” Ruiz (41-6-1, 28 KOs), regarding a dispute about the Universum-announced October 28th date for the WBA elimination fight between Ruiz and No. 2 rated challenger Russlan “White Tyson” Chagaev (21-0-1, 17 KOs), to determine the organization’s official No. 1 heavyweight contender. ruiz is a disgrace to boxing and a disgrace to the human race.

he keeps filing lawsuits, takes long vacations, complains about everything, and this is OUTSIDE the ring.

john the bum ruiz is di****able as a boxer and as a human being.

I only wonder what The Pretender would have to say about all this.

            Wba Sides With Ruiz

            WBA SIDES WITH RUIZ
            By Scott Shaffer

According to Tony Cardinale, attorney representing heavyweight contender John Ruiz, the WBA has ruled in favor of Ruiz over a dispute between Ruiz and Ruslan Chagaev. Universum recently won a purse bid to stage an eliminator between Ruiz and Chagaev, and it went ahead and scheduled the fight for October 28, 2006 in Germany. Cardinale shrewdly noticed that this was three days sooner than permissible under WBA regulations, and as ********** recently reported, Cardinale filed a protest. Today, Cardinale reports that he received a letter from WBA legal counsel Robert Mack, who agreed that the eliminator could not go forward unless Ruiz consented. So far, Ruiz has not agreed, so Universum must either find another main event for its television date, or reach a compromise.
