Tremendous fight, maybe a "back from the brink" KO needed to put the icing on it and make it an all-time classic, but for this year it was a great, great fight.

Abraham's jaw and heart cannot be faulted. What's also upsetting about such fights is that after they're over all the recriminations start - the ref rigged it for Germany. Edison was dirty. Abraham lost 11 rounds. (WTF??)

Can't we just bask in what a GREAT FIGHT it was, without either fighter having to be "exposed" or "owned"?

Yes he is indeed a warrior but Jermain Taylor has the ability to KO or at least TKO Arthur.

The thing I don't get, that I haven't heard many people talkin about, is why didn't they stop the fight? I mean, I haven't watched the fight, but I think once you know one of the fighters has a broken jaw, you stop the fight. I just think that's the kind of injury that should stop a fight immediately. I'm sure fighters have had broken jaws and the doctors weren't sure, but if they know hands-down that the guys jaw is broken, it should be over. I'm not trying to take anything away from Abraham. If he can get through 2/3 of a fight with a broken jaw and win, he's got some serious fight in him. I just think the doctor should be protecting his health, even if it's going to lead to a loss on his record.
