Arce, Chavez Jr. Score KO Wins

It was short work for Mexican superstar WBC super flyweight champion Jorge Arce (45-3-1, 35 KOs), as the gritty fighter whooped his opponent Hawk Makepula (28-4, 18 KOs) in four rounds. One-sided encounter as predicted, Arce battered Makepula until dropping the fighter in the fourth round, which led to referee Vic Drakulich calling a halt to the action to prevent the fighter from suffering further punishment. while xcaret has been pronounced most idiotic poster in this site, this just proves she's also the most disrespectful.

chups made a good move in updating us, and this comment is just out of line.

The most surprizing thing about this fight to me was when Vic Drakulich took a point from Jorge Barrios for low blows...

I was impressed Arce tonight. He started slow, like he always does, and then really picked up the pace, like he always does. This was a good win, Makepula is no joke. Makepula was robbed against Irene Pacheco and I didnt see his other losses but I know one was a MD so it was probabaly close but I dont know, all I know is he was robbed against Pacheco. It was also clear that Makepula was a pretty talented boxer and good counerpuncher. Arce predicted a 4th round KO and thats exactly what he did. Very excting fight too as always from Arce. Arce looked very impressive against a good opponent in his 115 pound debut.

But why the *** was HBO tryin to pressure him into moving up in weight? The guy just moved up, let him fight at 115 for now and get fights with guys like Darchinyan,Montiel,Castillo, Tokuyam, etc.

Yea Max Kellerman asked Arce if he would fight him and Arce said something along the lines of "Darchinyan, yea right now, where is he?" He said he would fight anyone HBO wants him to fight, anytime, any place, anywhere.
