    boxing bags

what's the difference between a leather bag and a canvas bag, durability and longevity wise? i'm going to go buy a 100lb bag for my garage this weekend and i'm not sure which one to get. also, i'm wondering how the bag will live up to the garage environment.

the garage basically has just brick walls, no insulation, and the winters here can get very cold. The temperature inside the garage very rarely will fall just below freezing.. it usually stays about 3-9 degrees throughout most of the winter..

    any advice will be appreciated

oh and this is the bag i was considering, if anyone has anything to say about it. TKO Heavy Bag Canvas 100lbs

Canvas will tear whatever gloves your using up, outside of that I dont think there's anything I could say that would be helpful.

oh yeah? how long would you say a pair of gloves typically last against a canvas bag 3-4 times a week?

No idea, just going on assumption.
