    He still has very good handspeed, but it's slowed. I think his footspeed and general reflexes are what have dropped off the most. He fights far more upright and doesn't move and pull away from punches as well as he used to. He's still faster than the guys he fights, but I think he knows he has to focus on working the body more to keep his advantage throughout the fight.

      Funny you say that about his body shots because I always have said from sparring with him that RJ's best punches were his body shots.
      I'd like to see some stats on his punches vs Prince Badi, because I think he threw as many body shots as he threw headshots in that fight, maybe even more early on.

        a shame roy didn't pursue tarver's body after he had him in trouble in round 5. of their 3rd fight. he looked to be in serious trouble.

          great article I thought people didn't give Jones enough credit for the win over Ajamu. I thought he did an excellent job in that fight the best I seen him do in quite a while.
