I would say that Barerrra is definately the most beloved Mexican fighter by far. Even when Morales was at his peak, Barerra was always more popular and loved.

HE is the biggest start in boxing. And here is why . He was in 2 reality shows. BIg brother and Dancing with stars. People qhoe arent boxing fans will hear the Name Jorge Arce and they will know who he is.But the mexican boxing fans will prefrer the Barrera and Morales more because theyve done way more than Arce. Now we also see that Morales and Barrera are old fighters. Barrera is retiering ina year and Morales wil;l do it sooner or later (i hope). Then Arce will take over the palce they left.

Jorge Arce is the biggest star in Mexico right now. Even moreso than other athletes in other sports.

Well maybe at the moment coz he participated (and won?) that big brother thing. When it settles down......JCC, JCC jr., Barrera and Morales will come up top. More Mexicans will fill up a Morales fight than an Arce fight.
And also...Barrera is semi-regular in the media. I visit mexican boxing sites and polls...Barrera always wins. He just won as mexico's fighter of the year last year...and some other thingy. If I could find it...I could post the link.
