picked the most athletic black man & the most athletic white man
its easy to pick who will be the better athlete. we are different
races with different physical & mental advantages, but that doesnt

It all depends on what criteria are you judging their athletism. Speed goes to black man, strength on the other side goes to white man and its not even close.
Also fighting is not that much connected to your athletism, but your mental and psychological state. Being plane smart also helps and only after that does athletism come to play.

Everything is cyclical, but it's always stats = facts = supremacy with those lunatics. I'd like to hear the stories behind them for once (especially since I don't know much about MMA and the backgrounds of black and brown fighters). You know, this reminds me of the hoopla surrounding the last Olympics and recent international basketball play, when team USA lost to the foreign teams. They were heckled by media and fans and the talk started up that the black players, etc. are 2nd slice. That wasn't necessarily accurate at all. There were several dynamics that caused the tides to turn in the international game and it had jack to do with race.

1 - Players on teams such as Spain and Greece have played together for YEARS compared to the throwing together of NBA "stars" for the world championships. You can't do that when the rest of the world has obviously caught up since the '92 dream team massacre.

2 - It's the world's BEST against the NBA's mainly B and C squad with A listers on top. The majority of A players in the league don't seem to be taking enough pride in their sport, turning down opportunities to participate in international play and bringing the gold back home.

I really think the big money and glamour by the NBA, NFL and to a lesser extent MLB has spoiled folks rotten and is the reason blacks aren't the force in combat sports. No incentive to go MMA for a living.

I'll buy into talks of race dominance here and in international basketball play when I see the best against the best.

Its just rediculous to me the notion of judging fighters by race as if one is superior to the other based on that, and that alone. Hard work makes a great fighter, dedication makes a great fighter, the will and the heart to win makes a great fighter, not race. Reading that article was just rediculous to me, the way they skew the facts about "champions" in each division. The white man isnt on the rise in boxing any less than say, the dominicans, or the columbians, or anybody else for that matter. Its ******. A white man can easily be better than a black man who has less dedication and who trains less, its all about dedication. Nobody is just born to do this, its all dedication.

I posted this not to imply that its ludicous that a white man could beat a black man, i posted this to display the ignorance of going by judging fighters by race and not style/accolades. I never do this, and alot of you do, and i see some of that ignorance coming up in this thread. Name one time you have even seen me say something racist, or ignorant about another fighter just based on race, or nationality. You cant, because its ****** to do so, its also why i refrain from even keeping my favorite fighters in a sig. Because from Isreal Vazquez to Floyd Mayweather to Vic Darchinyan, im not hear to let anyone know of any bias i may or may not have to a specific fighter so people will understand that my point of view is strictly from a professional standpoint, not from a race or nationality standpoint.
