          kid isnt nearly as talented as his father.

          They are just riding the Julio Caesar Chavez name to make as much money as possible since the family is in a bit of a financial slump.

          He lost a clear cut decision down in Tijuana to some cab drivers son, yet he got a draw on it just to maintain that undefeated record.

          Chavez Jr is 27-0-1, but has only fought 15 guys that have been over .500

          He does have very little amateur experience so that may be the reason for the extra protection and slow start.
          Although his last fight he stepped it up a notch, winning by TKO4 in a 10 Round fight for the WBC Youth Title vs. a 14-1 opponent.

          We have to wait for him to get a real test before a final assesment can be made.

            I think Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is being a bit protected but can be a very good fighter he needs to come out of his fathers shadow and take more risks, Decent to Good Jab movement is okay his chin is untested really
