Is anyone else tired of HBO and Showtime scheduling big fights on the same night?
October 7: I want to watch Corrales-Casamoyer, but its the same night as a good card on HBO. Who's fighting the Sat. before? Nobody.
November 4: Of course I'm going to buy the PPV on HBO, but now I'm missing Juan Diaz and Roman Karmazin on Showtime. And what's going on a week later? Not a damn thing.
December 2: Winky-Quartey is one I'd like to see, but now I'm missing one of my favorite's in Cotto. Who's fighting Sept. 25th? HA Jesus Chavez is the only fight listed and he doesn't even have a scheduled opponent yet.
I understand its about competition and taking business away from the competitor, but what about the fans? Showtime is losing at least one viewer in me. I would love to pay the $15 for Showtime, but I'd only watch it for the boxing and why do that when they schedule all their fights the same nights as HBO's?
