Hatton said: "Kostya came up to me after the fight and he said, 'You were the better man and you deserved to win'. He said, 'If you ever need any help and advice I'll give you my phone number and I'll be there for you' and I tell you what, that's not a champion that's a champion and a half. I can be half the champion Kostya Tszyu was I'll be doing well."

Indeed. Tszyu added: "I am a very proud man and I'm not saying it's the end of my career but I'm saying that today I lost to the better fighter."

....Kostya was a bad man and one of my top three all time favorite fighters. I saw him lose to Vince Phillips when I didn't think he could lose and then I watched him go on from there to the greatness that he was always destined to attain. I was so fired up when he smacked down Judah that I was hard to contain. I was dissapointed in the Hatton fight to say the least.

Maybe Kostya should of taken training more serious when he fought Phillips...if you are distracted, cancel the fight...he has nobody to blame but himself for that loss...he learned from it, but it drifted from his mind as time went on...he tended to like getting buttered up as much as he liked feeling like the underdog...If Tszyu could of stayed hungry for every fight, that would of been something, but I guess there is always one fault in every great Champion.

Teddy Atlas said a great line about Tyson's strength and weakness in a documentary:
"Maybe God figured, I'll give him a strong body, and I will make him become strong in another way on his own"

Yes, I can only dream of appearing on Australia's Strictly Come Dancing.

I can never respect anyone who quits on a stool. It's the worst way to lose. I'd rather come out and take the beating that was coming and risk ending up like McLellan than quit like a little *****. I just wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing I quit - like a little *****.

And maybe you are the one who should grow up. This is just my opinion on a boxing message board.

Well, if you like being poor, blind, deaf, and poor quality of life, instead of being rich, having kids to look after, good health with the possibility to come back to fight, then good for you

It's a lot easier said then done.

Considering he looked like **** at the weigh-in, looked like he was fatigued by the 4th round, having his mouth wide open, taking shot after shot, I say that shows heart to last as long as he did...the last 25 seconds of his last round that he fought, his hands were down by his thighs, taking shot after shot...he could barely hold himself up he was so dehyrated/drained.
The huge nut shot also made him piss a lot of blood after the fight...getting hit in the balls that hard is not so good

Also, what else is Tszyu going to say? He ****in lost and quit on his stool. Ofcourse he thought Hatton was the better man.

This is boxing. You guys act like you have skirts on. Ive said it a million times: If you want to be humble then thats cool but you shouldnt penalize a guy just because he's not all humble about everything. I dont want everyone to be the same. I love it when guys talk ****. This sport would be so boring if you never had guys like Ali, Floyd, Toney, Hopkins, and so on.

Mostly every boxer you guys think are jerks are really good guys anyway. Everyone hates Floyd but then if a regular person meets them, they think he's the nicest guy in the world. The same about Paulie and alot of others. You have to be confident in boxing and you get to the point where you dont think anyone can beat you.

There are alot of guys our there who talk **** on the low, like Tszyu & Hatton. Then there are guys who want to be ****y sometimes but they think its better just to be polictaly correct. Then you have others who are man enough to say what they feel and you guys cant take it.

I wish more sports were like boxing. Football is sometimes. I wish some NBA guys would talk ****. A couple do like my boy Arenas. I wish Wade would say, "Kobe's OK but he'll always be 2nd best to me".

How tight would that be? The next time they play, it would be the most watched game in history
I'd have to agree, everybody does talk ****, wether to hype themselves or to hype the fight up, but after the fight they show their true colors, giving respect were respect is due.

Listen Sweetheart, you try stepping in a boxing ring and actually fighting. When your pudgy ass is being pounded THEN and only then can you even start to think about referring to any pro. pugilist as a *****.

Real men are not like your fakey avatar toughly putting nails through their hands in a fantasy movie.

Yes you have every right to have your opinion. It is obvious that it is a childish opinion that comes from absolutely no understanding of the physical hardship of boxing. You have obviously been given everything in your life as you have no concept of fighting for everything you've ever had and the potential of orphaning and widowing everyone that you hold dear.

My opinion is that you are a shallow little tit.

Interesting. How do you know I have never boxed? Oh you don't.

Thanks for pointing out The Story Of Ricky is a fake movie. I actually believed it was true. It's like being told Father Christmas isn't real.

And it was Tszyu who didn't want the potential of orphaning and widowing everyone that he held dear, as he quit on stool - like a little *****. And then went on Australia's Strictly Come Dancing.

He was a good boxer who then made his money, couldn't stomach a war, preferring to dance than fight. I don't see why he deserves respect.

You haven't boxed because no boxer would refer to a great champion as a *****.
Go back to being nailed by Ricky! Ooohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
