another thing to point out is Guzman was rolling with a lot of Barrios shots. I thought this fight was closer than people are saying though, I think I scored it 8-4 or 7-5 for Guzman i dont really remember, i need to watch it again.
Barrios vs Guzman: I musta been watching a different fight!!!

Just because people don't agree with you doesn't mean they are biased. I am not a fan of either fighter yet i scored it for Barrios. Colonel Bob Sheridan who is one of the most neutral commentators around scored it for Barrios also.Originally posted by moochibelieve me, you are very very bias if you scored the fight that way...no offence or anything, but i am very neutral on this fight and too me, it was a case of guzman being far the superior ...i mean, whenever he really wanted to, he'd outbox barrios!!..
you can score the fight how you want, but i can't see barrios winning any more than 4 rounds...Comment

all i can say forest hill buddy, is download the fight and watch it...i mean watch it as if you were a referee....meaning, are the punches connecting, are punches missing, is the fighter defending well, moving, etc.........it was obvious from the first minute that whenever guzman wanted to, he'd outclass and outbox barrios...........Originally posted by The Golden BoyJust because people don't agree with you doesn't mean they are biased. you can chase all day and loook aggressive, but if it's not affective, its pointless!!!...and guzman, he is another kostya tszyu in the making....his 300 amateur fights really showed in this fight...the way he would move and glance barrios' punching was nothing short of amazing!
it was a fight where i am 100% sure that wouldn't even be worth having a rematch!...Comment

Anyone who thought Barrios won that fight was obviously starved of oxygen at birth.
It was a boxing lesson from Guzman. Barrios was completely outclassed. Didn't have a clue.
Doesn't surprise me as he didn't prepare for the fight properly and was 3 pounds over at the weigh in. How a boxer can let that happen in a World title fight is beyond me.
I have no respect for anything anyone has to say if they think Barrios won that fight. They're clearly brain damaged.Comment

just seen the fight now ...
I am not a fan of both fighter so I have no bias here but IMHO the fight was closer than what is being said ...
its true that Guzman was the better boxer and more accurate puncher, but at times he was too busy trying to LOOK GOOD rather the fight making the fight a lot closer in my eyes ...
this was my attempt to score the fight ...
I gave both guys 6 rounds each, now I know why judges receive so much sh_t from fans ... lol
