Having a "mexican" trainer isnt the answer, his corner told him exactly what to do, cut the ring off, throw punches in combinations, Barrera just stayed back and jabbed, who would have known he would have done that? They probably never gameplanned for that, did you expect that kind of fight? Absolutely not, Barrera had the reach and the intelligence to stay back, he never took any risks hardly ever, he knew what he had to do, he just couldnt do it, i dont blame the corner.
