i watched the first 2 rounds, saw it was gonna be an okay fight, so i left to get my car so id be back in time for barrera-juarez.

Now i just came back, the fight is already over, and people are saying its just as good as corrales vs castillo?!?!?!?!?!

was it really that good! im gonna kill myself for missing this fight!!!! DAMNIT!!!!!!!!

Gonzales was dominating till the 6th round, he dropped Israel in 4th and 6th and won all the rounds, then Israel came back in the 7th round to knock down Gonzales, and won the 8th round and 9th round, and then he knocked down Gonzales the second time, the his corner threw the towel (Gonzales was bleeding badly)

Gonzales dominating the first 6 rounds, and dropping Vasquez twice, in the 4th and in the 6th, then losing the 7th round because of getting knocked down himself and losing 8th and 9th rounds, and then losing the fight in the 10 round because he got knock down and was really hurt.

Dont get me wrong. Great fight. First 3 rounds were listless and boring but the outcome was great. Vasquez showed trememdous heart and resilience coming back but I dont think it was FOY material.

IMO too a premature stoppage by Gonzales corner, he could have gone on. NOt complaining though, it's not me in there but I'm sure others will agree the towel coming was a tad premature.

it was a really good fight and gonzales was doing the right thing and impressed me with his power but i think vazquez just needed time to find that chin and tapped that ass, turned his legs into spaghetti. imo this wasnt fight of the year because of how bad gonzales nullified him early and bc gonzales's corner didnt let him go on. i think he didnt want to though, and he would of got ktfo.
