  • Antonio Leonard Productions has inked former super middleweight champion Jeff Lacy!

Antonio Leonard Productions has inked former super middleweight champion Jeff "Left-Hook" Lacy to a promotional deal. Moments ago ********** spoke with Leonard, who not only confirmed the signing to **********, but stated he would love nothing more than to see world super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe give Lacy a rematch. Of course, Leonard was a bit more animated. "I have $100,000 on the table that Jeff Lacy would not only beat Calzaghe in a rematch, he would knock him cold out, if they want to make it happen all they have to do is call 713-539-1407," said Leonard who also told ********** that there are discussions for Lacy's next fight to take place on the undercard of Winky Wright's next bout.

I'll take that bet. And give him odds of 10/1.

This might not be the best career move for Lacy if this is what his promotor thinks.

Calzaghe whipped this boy like he was his father, what makes him think he could do anything differant??? Unless Joe wants to make some easy money

That promoter sounds like an idiot or a small-timer seeking publicity.

Promoter is an idiot. I just hope Jeff fights soon.

EXACTLY. A SMALL TIME PROMOTER SEEKING PUBLICITY. A guy with no rep or name in the game trying to make a splash. Kind of like the people that signed Rid**** Bowe last year and talked all sorts of craziness because they had "the" Rid**** Bowe. It doesn't look very good that Jeff had to go from a big time promoter to a no-name one.

Jeff Lacy would get more punch bag treatment if he fought Joe Calzaghe again. LOL @ "knock him clean out". If he was gonna do it he would have done it first time... Joe has too many skills for that boy.

So these are the new guys Lacy is surrounding himself with? Poor Jeff.

WOW. Can't believe Lacey left the reputable GARY SHAW for such a small timer promoter at such a critical stage in his career.

BAD MOVE LACY, both on the pomoter, and the Calzaghe call-out.
