Edwin Valero has that same exact record except with 18 first round KO's, fought better competition, and is a world champion. Much more impressive if you ask me.

impressive, look at that top notch competition!!!!! such as tony "the walking punching bag" daniels

                  http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=068084

i mean who can forget his legendary UD win over Tony (Ed) Fling !??!?

i mean seriously, tony "brain damage" daniels is a real life rocky story. after getting knocked out in his first 9 professional fights, he goes on to finally win by DQ. only to get knocked out in his next 6 fights. but still the man iS A LEGEND!

I used to collect KO Magazine back in the early/mid 80's and in those mags they used to provide a colour poster of a fighter, which also included his fight-by-fight record...And from my memory, any TKO was listed as a KO on the selected fighter's record, so I wouldn't assume that all of Klingman's listed knockouts/stoppages were of the ten count variety.
