Judah is a lot faster than Oscar so your analysis fails. IMO Oscar will have a hard time catching Floyd. If they fought and he did hit Floyd with one of those hard Left Hooks, I would like to see how well Floyd would take it. -
I don't recall mentioning speed, did I? Oscar is a way better boxer, has more power, more experience and is the bigger guy. Why would he chase after PBF? We saw Judah was way faster than PBF at 147, I don't think PBF's speed is not gonna be a factor at 154.Originally posted by TheBlackWallStreetJudah is a lot faster than Oscar so your analysis fails. No you didn't mention speed and that's why your analysis fails. Speed was a factor in why Judah could touch Floyd easier than most Fighters. Oscar wont have that advantage and you automatically assumed that Oscar would by even bringing that up. how can u say Floyds speed wont be a factor? Is it because Judah was faster than Floyd? If so that makes no sense because Oscar is in no way faster than Mayweather.Originally posted by gerardofprI don't recall mentioning speed, did I? Let me try to understand your analysis since mine failed. You're saying PBF was sitting back and not getting off on the first 4 rounds because Judah was faster, is that it? It looked to me like PBF was a little bit concerned about Judah's power and getting stunned, not about his speed and getting outboxed. There's a lotta things you can do to neutralize speed which PBF wasn't doing. On a few occasions I saw PBF laying on the ropes and eating power shots from Judah. Lucky for him, Judah doesn't have much stamina, Oscar does. I also saw PBF catching glass jaw Judah with everything he had and not even putting a dent on him. DLH has a solid chin.Originally posted by TheBlackWallStreetNo you didn't mention speed and that's why your analysis fails. Now lets take a look at your analysis of how PBF's speed will do against DLH, I consider Sweet P a faster, better boxer than PBF hands down and Oscar was able to outbox him and get the decision. On the second Mosley fight, Oscar beat him in the opinion of many and Mosley was a power puncher, punched a lot harder than PBF at 147, and had fast hands like PBF, what good did it do? What's different about PBF's speed that Oscar hasn't seen?Comment

Deserve 30 Million???Originally posted by ElbichograndeAnd rightfully so, he deserves that. He has a WIN over Oscar. and what has Oscar done? Beat a shell of his former self AFTER TITO, who just so happens to have a belt at the time. It's true what Tito's dad said. Oscar is an oppurtunist.
HAHAHA no way.
I would say Oscar takes in 40 Million for this fight and Tito walks away with a happy 20 Million.
Regardless wether its a legitimate win or not (ITS NOT) Tito doesnt rake in the fans Like Oscar why should tito get the lions share or even the same?Comment

No way at that point in Sweet Pea's career was he fast still slick but not that fast and in no way is Pernell as good an Offensive fighter as Floyd. If he was Oscar would have lost that fight. Mosely has crappy defense. If he would have used some D against Oscar in both fights he would have won a helluva lot easier. At that weight (second fight) Mosely couldn't knock out anyone but a Damaged vargas. The first fight Mosely had power and it showed he landed the bigger shots and it did phase Oscar. Yes Oscar has a good chin but the question is can he out box Floyd, if he can't Land the big KO shots. Also in the Judah fight Zab was playing D and refused to punch back cause he was getting countered to death. Floyds KO's come from breaking fighters down and beating them with Accurate shots not one big punch.Originally posted by gerardofprLet me try to understand your analysis since mine failed. Floyd will cause Oscar problems just like Sweet P and Mosely did. Really Oscars only hope is his power and if he can setup and land that left hook flush. If Floyd can take that shot and still keep coming like Mosley did is the question.
As far as boxing skills Floyd is more complete than Oscar and thats a fact. Hell Oscar still hasn't developed his right hand to be that effective a weapon. Don't get me wrong I like Oscar and think he has a chance but I dont think it's going to be as easy as you are making it out to be. Floyd has many advantages in this fight. Oscar is going to have to bring out his A+ game if the fight happens.Comment

Just remember, Moseley and Sweet P were natural WW and LMW as well as Oscar when they fought, not blown up Jr WW like PBF. By no means is Oscar invincible, he has his flaws as well as PBF and all other fighters. IMO in order to beat Oscar, you gotta catch him out of shape (Sturm), be a busier opponent and take his shots (JJ Molina), or be a good boxer and stronger of the two (BHop). PBF is the better boxer, but he's a blown up WW. As he goes up to LMW he'll face Oscar who's way stronger, not that much slower, and is a proven puncher as well as boxer in that division. There's no way in hell PBF's speed, power and boxing ability be able to compete with Oscar on that weight, at 147, it would be a totally different fight. I see DLH by KO in the later rounds, giving PBF credit for his D and avoiding some of the punches. PBF has done well against stronger opponents like Castillo 2, but this time he's fighting in a division way above him.Originally posted by TheBlackWallStreetNo way at that point in Sweet Pea's career was he fast still slick but not that fast and in no way is Pernell as good an Offensive fighter as Floyd. Yes you are right Floyd is a blown up 147lb and if he fights at 154 he will be an even more blown up 154 pound fighter. 140 is a way better weight for him. He weighed 146 the night he fought Judah. So in reality he can still fight at 135 no problem even 130 if he wanted to kill himself to make weight like many other fighters. Floyds skills and in ring smarts is what allows him to do this though. That's why I say this fight comes down to Oscar and his ability to setup that Left hook and if Floyd can take it. If Oscar can set it up and catch Floyd with it and Floyd can't take it, Oscar will win by KO or TKO. If Floyd can avoid it and counter it Oscar will get beat no matter what weight its at. Floyd IMO is the most complete fighter Oscar is going to face no matter what weight it's at but it can also be said the other way around. Makes for an interesting match up. Oscar best man up and take the fight because most fans want to see what happens. Either man has a very good chance to win but both have to bring the A game.Originally posted by gerardofprJust remember, Moseley and Sweet P were natural WW and LMW as well as Oscar when they fought, not blown up Jr WW like PBF. Agreed. Don't forget about Oscar's right hand (Vargas) and that quick jab also.Originally posted by TheBlackWallStreetYes you are right Floyd is a blown up 147lb and if he fights at 154 he will be an even more blown up 154 pound fighter. 140 is a way better weight for him. Hey guys, I don't see why you guys are so bend out about the 30 mil trinidad is asking for. It's very simple. Trinidad is retired, Oscar called him out, if Oscar want Tito to un-retire again and fight him, he (Oscar) needs to pay for that. Now I really don't think DLH wanted this fight anyway, he wanted to give floyd a shake down for the negotiations but it backfired on him twice. 1. Tito said he would take the fight and 2. Floyd knows that he is in a good negotiation place after what Tito said.
Now you guys say that Oscar should not pay the 30 mil to Tito because Oscar is the draw. I agree like everyone else that Oscar is the draw. But lets not forget who called who, who is retired. If the active fighter (Oscar) want the retired fighter (Tito) then oscar needs to shut his mouth pay up or stop calling Tito out.Comment
