Cotto would be a more entertaining fight.

    But Hatton/Mayweather has to happen.

If Hatton loses to someone other than PBF his marketability will drastically fall. I can see Hatton losing to PBF and still being a very marketable fighter for Hatton vs Cotto.

However I dont see Hatton losing to Cotto and being able to market himself against PBF. For that reason I would like to see Hatton fight both these guys and would therefore want to see Hatton fight PBF first.

For now Hatton's staying at 140, that leaves Cotto and PBF out for now (2007). Biggest fights for him at 140 are Witter and Castillo, also, if Torres gets by Mighty Mike, I'd love to watch that one.

Agree, but if Mayweather moves up to 154 for De La Hoya, chances of him moving back down to 140 are slim. I think the fight has to happen, but at 140, not 147.

In a recent interview posted by Geof, Hatton is quoted as saying that he is willing to go up to 147lbs to fight PBF beacause he doesn't consider PBF a big natural WW. He also acknowledges that he would also go to 147lbs to fight Cotto, although he did say Cotto as if he were an after thought.

That not a good idea in my opinion, Mayweather would own him at 147. I would like to see him fight Cotto to see who's the better fighter, then the winner could take on PBF.

I personally rather see hatton vs cotto. But as a true boxing fan i want to see hatton vs mayweather it be like lenard vs duran all over again.

Since he is back at jr. welter. I would say Castillo. Otherwise Cotto.

Hatton isn't coming up to 147 and Mayweather isn't going back down. By that time Mayweather will be fixed in 147 & 154.
