Taylor: "I'm Looking To KO Ouma"

No more mister nice guy. Middleweight champion Jermain Taylor tells the Arkansas ******** Gazette that when he meets former 154-pound champion Kassim Ouma on December 9 at the Alltel Arena in Arkansas, he is going to have knockout on his mine. Forget boxing, forget touching gloves, Taylor is looking to give his hometown fans a big knockout. [details]

And he will, in about the 6th or 7th round.

He will walk through Ouma's slaps and land that right hand consistently before a merciful stoppage.

Well he better be prepared to fight all 12 rounds. Ouma has an good chin and keeps coming. JT will have to keep his boxing skills in the middle of the ring and land some nice combos.

I think he will win in impressive fashion as well. I dont know why Ouma took this fight Taylor is a big middleweight and Ouma finally filled into 154 in his last fight.

Wow this is the first time I've seen in less then a span of a week a fighter go from negotiating a fight with 1 guy, then negotiating a fight with another guy, to going back & making the first fight happen, & now talking **** about who's getting knocked out, what a sport.

If Jermaine doesn't KO him and a reporter asks about it during the post-fight, he's going to say, "Man, I'm a fighter..."

LMFAO!!! yup, anything asked in a pre-or-post fight comment from Taylor, it all trails back to "Man, I'm a fighter..." somehow

i think it's gonna now go:
Ouma vs. Taylor, Quartey vs. Wright, winner of these two faces each other next..

Anyway, i'm almost willing to drive to Little Rock just to support Kassim Ouma. Seriously, i've never seen the odds stacked against an opponent so hard before.. you thought Memphis was bad, mark my words, Ouma will have to dominate this fight at least to come even close to winning a decision IMO (and i still think it's very possible that he can win, regardless what LR judges will "think").. i can see it now: you'll see Ouma avoid getting KO'ed and make this a very close fight with his accuracy and consistancy, and then the decision will come something like 116-112s for Taylor

Also, if Taylor really says he's going to be looking for the KO, that will be a serious advantage for Ouma..

Ouma doesn't have enough pop to keep Taylor off of him. I think Taylor 5th round TKO

I've got to say this for the fans in Little Rock, though. When the Arkansas judge scored the Monte Barrett fight for Guinn, the boos were thunderous. They will pull for Taylor for sure, but at least they seem to know what they're really seeing.

I will be surprised if this fight lasts more than 5 rounds.
