I for one give Quintana a good shot at beating Cotto, but he wouldnt be exposing him. Cotto has already shown he has a weak chin, why do you think his team put together fights against branco and malignaggi? B/c they dont have great KO power and after the torres scare they didnt want to take risks. It almost back fired for them when Paulie came close to outboxing Cotto, but didnt have the snap on his punches to keep Cotto away and Miguel took the last important 2 rds.

Quintana has 18 KO's against some par opposition so he can **** a little plus he is a good boxer, (maybe not as slick as paulie) and a southpaw so we'll see what happens. but I actually give Cotto credit for taking this fight

Not saying he cant win,but the only one who could get "exposed" in this fight,is Quintana, who is living off of ONE fight.

Quintanna does nothing special, he gets hit and with Cotto that not a good idea. Cotto move up weight should help him absorb punchs, I never saw Quintanna really commite on his punchs and i don't see him commiting onhis punchs against Cotto. Cotto should be able to break down Quintanna. Even if it takes Cotto take 2 shots to land his shot, eventually he'll slow down Quintanna. I don't think Cotto will ko Quintanna cause Quintanna movement wouldn't allow him to get ko'd and Cotto in his recent fights hasn't show me that he like to cut off the ring on a fighter.

I agree with you with the exception that Quintana did commit and sit on his punches at certain times in the middle and late rounds.

You know what Dino, this may be the first time we ever agreed on something. After seeing what Quintana was able to do to Julio, I really believe that Cotto is in for a terrible night against his tricky paizano in December.

Cotto is a near carbon copy to Julio, both are flat footed, over patient ****ers who are only effective if you stay in their zone. Quintana is a mover, he will slow down the pace and use angles on his toes where Cotto cannot readjust his footwork to get his shots off. I really see this being the same thing really. Of course, I predicted the same thing with Malignaggi but I do believe Quintana is a better fighter than Malignaggi.

If Quintana can do what he did to Julio, Cotto is in huge trouble because this guy isn't Malignaggi.

I wasn't aware this fight was going to happen, but if its true, props to Cotto for taking this fight. It's high risk/low reward. Quintana has a very legit shot at outboxing cotto for the duration of the fight

This is like Malignaggi all over again with all the predictions that Cotto's going to get outboxed. Cotto by TKO round 9.
