I don't know whats up with the dude and his hatred. But I'll tell you one thing, I bet that dude is a real life coward and can only talk this **** on the net. He probably gets teased and bullied by Pinoys so he vents on the net. Don't lie xca****, you know you'd get your ass kicked. It's cool though go ahead and vent and talk all your **** where it is safe.

Elorde's greatness stems from the fact that he dominated in different weight classes and had a long reign, about 6-7 years.

But PAC can easily outpace him if PAC continues to take on elite fighters and continues to beat them up.

Elorde is still up there, but not by much.

KO's against Barrera (easily one of the worst one-sided beating of elites vs elites) and Morales (never been KD much less KO'd in his career) are formidabble trophies. But PAC still has to get a few more.

          A win against Morales.
          A win against Barrera.
          A win against Barrios.
And a few more and he will be the best.

Go tell us if his right hook has improved maricon.

richie is a f@cking bum who likes to cross dress.

                  Great post Bro...
What about a belt in the Lightweight Division with a marquee fighter..lets say, for arguments purposes, a POPO or a Jesus Chavez...will that make him overall "Greater" than Elorde?

Honestly, although a Filipino myself, I wasn't yet born at the time of his 7 yr reign. And honestly, if not for boxing historians in this site, such as Mr. Bojangles ang Grayfist (who I believed are not Filipinos themselves but know Flash a lot..God bless them..), I wouldn't have known that Elorde was indeed for real and not only highly regarded amongst us Filipinos but in the whole boxing world. In fact, I was so surprised with what Mr. Bojangles had said and quoting him to wit; "fought in 44 championship fights at 4 weight divisions and dominated the Jr. Lightweight class like no other (perhaps only Alexis Arguello comes close)." Imagine that... describing him alongside the great Alexis Arguello.Never thought Flash was THAT GOOD...

My question is this. As early as in this stage of Pac's career did he muster enough fights and wins so much so that it is right to say that he is much "Greater" than Flash??

                    P.S.

I got pissed off with a thread made by an IDIOT in this site called XCARET who BTW called this HOF a bum that I decided to start this thread...Fortunately it benefitted me cause it has enriched me in oneway or another.
Just jumped in when I saw my name mentioned, pal.

You are right in both counts about me:

                    1. Unfortunately, I am not a Filipino.
                    2. I know a bit about Elorde as I visit the Philippines often and had the pleasure to meet people who knew Elorde, among them:

Enrique Magdayao- nephew of Mening Jagdon who was one of Elorde's first managers (a fella named Kintanar was co-manager).

Buddy Hisoler- a fight fan in Cebu who knows more about the fight game there than anybody I've met except perhaps Tony Aldeguer (the manager of Rey Bautista).

Francisco Balug- a former fighter who trained alongside Elorde while Da Flash was starting out.

Carl Penalosa- Gerry Penalosa's father who started his career when Elorde's was fading out.

Dodong Pedroza- a boyhood buddy of Gabriel. He is now a member of the town council of Bogo.

The late Minoy Flores- an educator, parti-time politician and all-around raconteur who grew up in Bogo when Gabriel was there and who used to tell me stories about the Flash that few knew about. Particularly stories about Gabriel prior to WWII (e.g., when, how and where Gabriel was circumcised! And by whom!)

I get the time to talk about boxing whenver I get to Cebu as when you're on the beach with friends, there often is not much else to do over San Migs!

Pac would be too small for the lightweight division, look at Morales, one of the best P4P boxer nowadays, he's bigger than Pac but was easily outgunned by Raheem. But Pac may become greater than Elorde due to today's technology and media, richer than any sportsman in his country.
