    If mayweather looses to

If mayweather looses to Baldomir or Margarito what will that do to his legacy when he retires. Two guys that are pretty good but far from being greats or legends. What will people think? Will people say he was 2 time champ and a 2 time paper champ or would they still have him as a an all time great.

if he loses to baldi then he could really f up his "golden pay day" against DLH. and you know what? i wouldnt be suprised if oscar ends up fighting baldomir in may .. It would be funny though but its not impossible. and floyd will lose ALOT of respect from fans if he loses to a "Journeyman" like baldi, it wouldnt be nice for pbf's career , thats fo sure. Floyd is in his prime atm and he could end up losing alot of $$$s if he loses to baldi. and you know it will also humble alot of his "nuthuggers" who think that floyd is unbeatable and will go down as GOAT(greatest of all time) lmao....

I think he would still be remembered as one of the greats of this generation, but people would just think he went up a division too high for him. If he lost to Baldomir or Margarito, he would lose to their size, not their skill...

Both of these fighters are being praised as tough opponents ONLY based on this, Margarito will never be on mayweathers level, ever, not in any lifetime, but his size and strength pose a problem, same with baldomir. Guys like Margarito striving to fight guys he knows are smaller than him is why boxing needs same day weigh ins.

I think it is all bull**** to say that it will destroy Floyd's legacy. Funny how some "greats" can stay at one weight and not take the risk that Floyd is taking, yet if Floyd loses, he will be the "forgotten"

Floyd is taking a big risk fighting Baldy, and if and when he does fight Margarito, the same if not more danger.

Floyd could of gone back down to 140 like Hatton, but he didn't.
He could of stayed at 140 for the rest of his career like Kostya Tszyu and Pryor, but he didn't. Should I mention that Hagler didn't ever move up? well I just did

This is one reason I can't stand boxing, people remember the last thing they see, ex: Michael Spinks got destroyed by Tyson, yet we forget how dominate Spinks was all the years before at light-heavyweight, not to mention he took it to Larry Holmes.

WTF is wrong with you people
