Liakhovich-Briggs Heads To Phoenix

The Arizona Republic reports that promoter Don King said Tuesday that he has an agreement with Chase Field for a November 4 showdown between veteran Shannon Briggs (47-4-1, 41 KOs) and WBO heavyweight champion champion Sergei Liakhovich (23-1, 14 KOs), of Scottsdale. The bout will be the first heavyweight title fight in Phoenix history. [details]

Good for Phoenix...and it should be a good fight. A Don King card also spells great undercard for those of you who can make it to this. If Karmazin-Santos is really on this card, you have two good fights for Showtime (I hope).
