Trinidad called De La Hoya a coward, because he feels the Oscar is only calling him out because he is retired, and using his name to help with current fight negotiations.

"But, knowing that I am withdrawn (from boxing), he is doing promotion by speaking that wants to fight with me. It's cowardly, because I do not know what other word to say. He has been utilizing my name to promote his fights," Trinidad said.
    Sounds right to me.

Trinidad did not retire because he "lost" thats a myth. He retired because he hated boxing politics.

LOL what politics after being completely embarrassed by Winky Wright made him give up the game? It's called EMBARRASSMENT, dude. Get over your Puerto Rican pride and admit the man is a crybaby

That worthless fight with Hacine Cherifi? That was a worthless feel good fight. Why would Trinidad want to fight Hopkins again? He was outclassed, outworked and got knocked out, and it would happen 10 out 10 times if trinidad fought hopkins.

I have always been a trinidad fan, since he first came on the scene, hes a puerto rican hero for allah's sake, but lets be real here, trinidad retired everytime he lost to a big name fighter, thats weak. De La Hoya didint do that, you cant knock de la hoya for this.
