Corley beats hatton, witter, beats hatton, castillo, chico, urango they all starch the guy. He holds and hits and you think that is world class LOL
Yup...everyone is calling you an idiot, but I didnt want to go that far. But this post just forces me to admit it. You are an idiot. And as I said, I am one of Mick's biggest fans, but I call it as it is.

The lack of education in these Hatton-bash threads really beggars belief.

I don't even like the little Paler, but feel forced to stick up for the guy when reading such ill-informed comments about him. Knock him by all means, but Jesus...

        Hatton is a Bum!!!

Hatton would get beaten by almost every quality fighter at 147 and most at 140. Collazo could've KO'd him if he had started on the attack earlier.

Hatton has built his career on muscling around smaller, older and weaker competition. Plus, his whole strategy "Hold, Kidney Punch, Rabbit Punch, Hold, Hook, Hold..." is illegal and when the American refs start enforcing the rules, he will look just like a spoiled, non-battled-hardened Mickey Ward.

I was initially excited to see Hatton after so much hype in the British Media, but I've seen enough and the only reason I would pay to see him now is to get the pleasure of seeing him further exposed as just plain ordinary.

Time will tell, my UK Brother....I say, almost without hesitation, that Hatton will be well out of the spotlight as a serious challenger by early 2008...I just don't see how anyone could think he's that good, but going back to the title of the thread- Hatton is a better fighter than Ward, period.

One bad night and these donut scoffing morons across the pond ae eating him alive. I don't understand why there is so much hate for a decent bloke like hatton, and wife beating thugs like corrales and mayweather are idolised. Must be the american mentality. Ricky will show all you anti-brit scum that the collazo fight was a one off.

No wonder you call yourself 'Madcow' because you certainly can't be completely sane with comments like that. Hatton is anything but plain ordinary!

Oi, nothing wrong with being of fairer complexion - my colouring is pretty similar to Hattons, although since I'm in barbados for meantime, I hope to be a little more swarthy by the end of september!

I find myself in a similar situation; I'm not a Hatton fan particularly, and prefer other fighters in the welter range, but some of the crap spouted here makes me defend him, when really I think he's a tad lucky to be on a p4p top 10. But Micky Ward.....no way!
