American Olympic Team= Not mexican. This is by nationality, and by nationality, truthfully speaking, Oscar is one of the best AMERICAN fighters by way of LA California. Im sorry, but thats how it works, alot of mexicans claim oscar only by conveinance, i cant tell you how many mexicans i know who call him a "***" "maricon" "not a real mexican".

Oscar is american through and through and while hes a mexican american, hes still an american first because this is the country to which he was born, and which he holds citizenship to.

As for Oscar beining a mexician i dont think it right to put it there because a mexician is someone who has the mexicain nationalitiy and he have the Americian nationality.

It all about loyalities to a country, That is way Americian goverment trying to strenghthen the border between the two countries if they gave passport to many mexician it could be part of a revelotion and that is what the goverment is afriad of.

7. Marco Antonio Barrera - The best Mexican fighter of his era (unless you include Chavez in it). Erik Morales would like to prove otherwise but he's 1-2 against Barrera and the gap between them is widening. Barrera became a complete fighter, rather than just a warrior, after Junior Jones beat him twice. He still loves to brawl but he can box, too. What featherweight of his time was better? A match with Sanchez would have been a Mexican dream fight.

Yes he beat Morales 2-1, but all 3 were razor thin fights not like he slaughtered him.

Morales also has the better resume by far. MAB's best win was Hamed you telling me Morales wouldn't have done the same to Hamed?

How Morales doesn't even make the list is just beyond me. He's the only other Mexican besides Chavez to win belts at 3 weight classes.

while i agree that morales should be on that list, barrera is beter than morales, both have pretty much the same resumes in boxing, and barrera is also a 3 weight world champion, winning belts in 3 weight clasees, 122, 126 and now at 130, he could have been the only mexican to win a world title at a 4th weight at 135lbs but the chavez fight fell through. plus barrera has beaten morales twice, both have lost the same amount of fights, but barrera is just that bit better than morales.
