Poor Little Rock. Twice now they've been assured a homecoming title defense that would sell out Alltell Arena and provide Taylor a "breather" from the tough competition. It also would serve as a likely impressive, confidence building win, with a highlight-reel KO against someone better than Daniel Eduoard. He would walked through Ouma's slaps and brutally punished him IMO.

Again, kudos to Taylor if this is finalized. This is his first VOLUNTARY move to make a tough fight since the first Hopkins fight, which they had to take (Hopkins would have retired middleweight champ otherwise, causing Taylor's legacy to be tarnished before it could ever build itself).

Here, he is forsaking a respect-garnering performance and is determined to settle the score after drawing with Winky in June. Good for him, and great for boxing.
