He was given quite a rough time by some 12-0 russian bloke, who would have had mitchell in serious trouble if he had more power. the bout was stopped on a cut caused by a clash of heads, and was ruled a tko for mitchell, which i can't understand as i thought it should have gone to the cards. the flow of blood from the cut had been stopped and i believe the fight was stopped to prevent mitchell from beeing taken the distance and possibly beaten.

It was good to see Mitchell evenly matched with guys and show that he was ale to keep going in a tough fight. I wish I could say the same for Khan.
Mitchell put together some good strong combos near the end of the 10th and he looked like he might finish strong. I didn't agree with the stoppage though. -
I think Mitchell is a fair prospect (though maybe not on this showing), and while close, I had him maybe a couple of rounds up. I didn't bother to score it, but it was certainly very competitive.Comment

i had mitchell up 96-95 with one round even. I can't stand how biased the itv commentators are either, they were saying that mitchell was ahead comfortably when he was clearly having some trouble. They were the same for woods vs johnson.Comment
