Not huge news, but John won his defense earlier today:
WBA featherweight champion Chris John (38-0-1, 20 KOs) successfully defended his title against Renan Acosta (18-5, 5 KOs) on Saturday in Jakarta, Indonesia. John won a unanimous decision over twelve rounds. There were no knockdowns. Scores were 119-108, 120-109 and 120-107. More to come.....
