Like I said the Hagler era was the best era in the history of boxing in my opinion, we will never see another era like that.

BTW most old boxers gets way overrated by Ring magazine and others!
Would you ever be willing to digest some of Robinsons achievments? Would you be willing to read up in him and some of the fighters he fought? And even watch some of his fights? It would be a eye opening mind changing experience!!

Ok thats good to hear! Me too. The problem (if you can call it that) with me is, when I think Im right, I think Im right. I just think being such a big fan of a certain fighter blinds someones judgement a little. I suppose everythings up for debate but we might have to strongly disagree on this one

So why was Haglers era the bst in history?

I know I can be biased about the Hagler era the way some are about Robinson era, because I became a boxing fan during the Hagler era!

Anyway I agree with your post 100%!

Do you understand the word Underrated?? Maybe you don't know these guys very well, I don't judge boxer by hall of fame, I judge them by my eyes! You forgot to mention the 5 greats from this era, that was easily the best era in boxing history and I'm sure that many will agree with me about this era!

U believe the hall of fame is wrong?
The 5 greats u speak of would be Hearns, Leonard, Duran, Mugabi? and who?

                    They were NOT great middleweights.
Mugabi's first fight at middleweight was Hagler.
Hearns first fight at middleweight was Hagler.

Thats not true, Mugabi fought before at middleweight, and ill tell you some greats

Alan Minter - He was one of the best British fighters in the scene, won Bronze in the 1972 Olympics, a three time european champion and UNIFIED WORLD Champion, Minter beat alltime greats like Emilie Grifith and Vito.

Fulgencio Obelmejias - Was a good fighter and Undefeated, Hagler mostly fought undefeated fighters or fighters with a loss or two losses. after losing to Hagler later on in his career he became the super middleweight world champion.

Vito Antuofermo - We all know he was a good fighter, with possibly one of the BEST Amatuer records ever (he only lost like 2 fights in Amatuers) I know your going to say amatuers dont mean much but still he was successful in Pro's too.

Mustafa Hamsho - Another really good fighter, He beat good/great fighters like Wilfredo Benitez, Alan Minter, Bobby Czyz.

And he also beat other greats I dont need to tell you about because you already know...like Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns...Mugabi...fought SRL and some people believe he beat him.
