Lunch hour boxing workout with area professionals
Tuesday September 19, 2006:
Downtown Hartford on State St. right behind the Old State House.
A public training session involving professional fighters Mike-Mike Oliver, Matt "Sharpshooter" Remillard and Israel "Pito" Cardona, all of whom will be appearing in featured bouts on the September 23 show at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, will take place.
The three boxers will be working out from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. All boxers will be available for photographs and photos and, as a special attraction, Windsor trainer "Iceman" John Scully, current trainer of Oliver and Cardona as well as for WBA 154 pound world champion Jose Antonio Rivera, will be available for one-on-one instructions with any member of the audience interested in participating.
