Technically, it's a close match up, as far as styles are concerned, but with the weight difference it's nowhere near competetive.

IMO Hopkins would have won, he dominated the best light heavyweight in the world, imagine if he would have moved to super middleweight, he would have been more quicker than lt heavyweight, and we already know about his defense.

Tarver wasn't at his best, and had a real bad gameplan.

Hopkins wouldn't have kept Calzaghe off him all night like he did Tarver, I'm sorry, but Hopkins doesn't have the tools at this stage in his career.

He went out on a great win, but there's a reason why he fought Tarver.
