Seriously, age is just a number.

I don't understand these age questions. You could start boxing at 30 and, if your good enough, go on to win the world title. You know??

        That's bull**** man..

Sugar Ray Robinson started at 15 and a half..
        Joe Louis started at 16.

JuyJuy told me this a long time ago, the younger you start, the sooner you will get bored of the sport.

        Look at DeLaHoya, Hamed, etc.

true but starting at age 30 your not looking at an amatuer career. Probably straight into the pro game.

without amatuer experience, your chances of winning a world title are very slim.

That's right, man. I started boxing training at 13, sparring at 14, and before I got thrown in jail I was losing hunger for the game. If I'd of started, say in my late teens when everybody else had a head-start, I'd of had more lasting hunger.. I'd of been real hungry.

Hunger is everything, the hungrier you are the better you train and the better you train the faster you improve..
