Abner Mares, a 2004 Mexican Olympian, currently residing in Montebello, California, will battle in an eight round bout. Currently his record stands at a perfect 8-0 with five knockouts. He is trained by Floyd Mayweather Sr., also the trainer of Oscar De La Hoya. Oquendo, 10-0 with six knockouts, of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, returns to Chicago following his stunning third round knockout of Terrence Roy at Cicero Stadium on January 27th of this year.
