So I just said to Gerald after we fought, 'Okay, good fight, we'll do it again one day'..."

ICE SAYS: I doubt Roy said this..... he was NOT set for a spot at the time he fought Gerald and I doubt he would say this. I think someone altered his words (JUY JUY?? lol) and posted it. Ray McElroy had gerald's number in the amateurs, he beat him more than once, just like RJ beat Ray more than once.
That ***** always do that in a vague way to manipulate his hatred toward Roy. He's bithcin because Eubank can never get his foot in Canastota because Eubank was an enigma.

Apparently James beat up Dennis Andries, Leeonzer Barber and Michael Bentt at the Kronk. I mean, literally beat them up.

I would LOVE to of seen the Hearns/McCallum sparring sessions in the early 80's.. wow.

Roy Jones had good sparring with Reggie Johnson in Pensacola in '91, pretty even apparently. Johnson was as slick as a greaseball back then, mind.

And RJ wouldnt say that so somebody, either you or the interviewer, manipulated his words.. as far as the Reggie Johnson - Roy sparring sessions I was there in the gym for every one of them.... and thats all I am telling YOU LOLOL

Scully, I own you time and again. Tommy Morrison having no amateur career, Iran Barkley not getting a medal at the world's, and the rest of it, I take things with you say with a pinch of salt now.

Jones often says ****** things, so if this wasn't true I wouldn't be suprised.

FWIW, while we're on that subject, Manny Steward has said that he remembers Gerald beating Roy Jones, Frank Liles and Tim Littles in the 18 months before the Olympics but still wasn't considered because (unlike them) he had no international experience.
