Peter vs. Valuev on the horizon? Who do you think would win?

Seeing Don King on the ring, I'll bet that he was involved in this fight and has now options on Peter. Valuev is being introduced to the US in a few months. I also believe that Maskaev doesn't stand a chance against Peter, so it's safe to assume that Peter will have a belt after his next fight. Do you think it's likely that we'll see Peter vs. Valuev down the road in the unification fight? Peter will be close to 300 pounds by that time himself, I'm sure King will find a way to promote that well.

That said, who do you think would win that fight?

This is an interesting question. Valuev doesn't appear to have a great deal of punching power (certainly not P4P) and his punch resistance is suspect, so I'd say Peter by KO, mid to late.

His punch resistance is suspect because nobody was able to test it up to date. As far as his punching power, I think he improved in that department a lot since his fight with Ruiz, I could not believe he lifted Beck off the canvas with an uppercut. I think Valuev has a chance here because of a huge size advantage.

peter by technical knockout, probably between 5-8.

it will be hard for peter to apply his normal power having to reach so far up but sooner or later hes gonna catch valuev and clobber his ass. ive seen some videos of guys hitting valuev with the kitchen sink and he holds up well. his skull appear to be about 2 inches think all around. i see it being a TKO with valuev hanging on the ropes and peter ravaging him like a wildebeast.

Valuev on points. I don`t see Peter being able to hit Valuev enough and the Peter hasn`t the speed or skills to be able to get past Valuev height or reach!

              peter by surprisingly early KO.

I dont think valuev has a good chin (idk though, nobody been able to reach it )

and peter has some of the best power in the sport, so i doubt valuev could keep peter off him for more then a few rounds.

I view it as suspect due to that right hand that visibly shook him in the Ruiz fight.

Though Ruiz is no cupcake, I guess...
