naw in my opinion i had Woods winning it, it was close thing so i understand why Johnson would feel like he should have won the fight. But Woods still won in my opinion

it would be silly to overturn the decision on this basis, as anyone who watched the fight would know this incident was hard to pick up and had no bearing on the fight. This is one for the ref surely, and he ignored it and so should we now.

Now whether Woods got a gift or not......not quite a gift but a close fight that could have gone both ways. I scored it 115-113 Johnson.

I think the key with this fight (and to a lesser extent with the Toney-Peter decision) was the impact of the punches thrown. Johnson moved Woods around a bit, was in control of the ring and hurt him with clean shots, including a LOT of big right hands.

Now for reference I score Toney a close winner of the other fight, but the factor that made it clse was the way Peter could move Toney back and control the centre of the ring. Shame he can't throw an accurate punch though.

rd ten was a big rd for glen IMO.
id of given johnson the fight too, especially as alot of the rds
were the commentators said woods dominated, i gave to glen.

it was close but 115-113 for johnson was fair IMO

thanks, finally someone answers my question about the cornerman getting up on the apron.(somewhat)

if it was a case of the guy being there to stop the fight or jumping up quicker to work the corner. whether or not it made a impact on the action.
because if the guy got up there and nothing was done i would say thats fcked, but if the guy was there to get to work thats a totally other thing, legit, at least for me.

i'm not quite sure it was legit under the strictest rules, but it didn't seem a big deal in the fight - everyone just got on with it and it was a v entertaining fight with a strong finish from Woods.

Completely agree S******; I'm not experienced at scoring fights but I had Johnson winning round 10, which in turn meant Clinton needed a knockout on my card to win.

Round 9 was a big round for Glen, I had woods winning the last 3 if I remember correctly.

That was kind of my point deuce, I have seen fights where the corner men have entered the ring on the last ten call, which is the same violation, obviously this is a minor law infringement but I would be extremely surprised if they overturned this decision, its more likely that the Woods team get fined or perhaps a ringside ban!

rd 9 was a beast, but in rd ten he landed far better shots than
woods which were moving him rd the ring, but not hurting as much
as they did in rd 9. yes woods fought back but didnt take the rd

This fight proves nothing except that Woods and Johnson are about exactly equal.
