People in the crowd stood up and did a head count for who had Toney winning, who had Peter... Dino (Peter's manager) said after Peter wins the title, they'd talk about a rematch.. Goossen said they would go for the protest and Dino said "Goodluck". Lol, a guy in the crowd said one of the judges looked like he was 80 years old.. lol. Dino's defending.. Goossen wants a rematch. Wow, Steve Kim was pissed, calls Dino out and asks him what was his arguments after the Kirk Johnson-John Ruiz fight.. Steve gets digs into Dino, great stuff..
Guerrero talked about his win. LOL, then the press asks Guerrero who he thought won Toney-Peter.. he starts laughing and says "ill leave that to you guys."
Ivailo Gotzev comes up and talks. Dino says that Peter's taking out Maskaev, then their going through every other soviet champion one by one.
Peter says he thinks he landing the cleaner more effective punches. Say he thought he had James hurt during the fight. Dino says there's nothing illegal about throwing two punches at once, then a guy in the media says "the referee yelled break Dino!" Dino insults the guy, then the guy replies, "your such a poor imitation of your brother, you should retire" while everyone OOOOs... it's like high school all over again. Dino's father gets pissed and says don't ever mention my son again.
About the double punch, Peter says "i score two times in one".. lol
Goossen continues to push for a rematch.
Toney enters the room, Goossen tells Toney that the media polled and had him unanimously winning
Toney thanks god, his wife, etc, says he's not going anywhere. Says he made this guy do nothing. Calls Peter the 'elephant man', says, whats up Steve (referring to Steve Kim), says he's still chinese (lol), calls himself blackanese, Steve asks him if he thought the ref did enough about the rabbit punches, James says hes a fighter, he doesn't complain, says "look where we at" that he wasn't hurt during the fight, he says the left arm feels good and it's stronger than ever, Toney says he was dazed when he put his hand on the rope, he said it was cool, he shook it off and came right back, called the fight 'fun', says he wants to see if he can get it overturned like Marco Antonio Barrera did (lol)
Freddie talks, says he talking pre=fight about the rabbit punches, that the ref during the fight threatened to eject him when he complained about them
Reporter asks since Peters camp doesn't want to give an immediate rematch what he thinks, Toney calls them "telebitches", tough guys on the phone, Toney says he knew he won, says "even Don King thought i won the fight" does an impression of him, lol
James says he'd love to fight again instead of trying to overturn the decision, says we should do it in Detroit, says he loves the Staple Center, wants to fight at home
Goossen says no one will ever question whether James is a true heavyweight again.
