The Oct. 2 Felix Trinidad-Ricardo Mayorga middleweight fight scored at the box office, generating 420,000 pay-per-views buys, according to HBO Sports. 260,000 buys were from cable homes and 160,000 buys were generated by satellite homes. The fight, which was held before more than 17,000 fans at New York's Madison Square Garden, featured the return of boxing superstar Felix Trinidad after a two-year absence. Trinidad scored a convincing 8th round TKO. The event was presented by Don King Productions in association with Madison Square Garden. "It was an action-packed event and Felix served notice that he is indeed back," said Mark Taffet, Senior Vice President, HBO Pay-Per-View. "From a pay-per-view perspective, the fight performed within our expectations and it's great to have another big name back in the sport again." HBO will replay TRINIDAD vs. MAYORGA on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT & 10:00 p.m. CT. The telecast will be also be replayed on HBO2 on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 9:00 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 11:30 p.m. Times are ET/PT.

Thats not really that god considering that it was Tito's comeback. Like its been said it wasn't promoted right and that has to fall on HBO cause you know NO ONE prmotes as hard as King when he has a big event.
