Screwjob aside, Toney is too fat

Imagine how easy a time he would have had with Peter if he weighed around 225 tonight. Peter would have lost every round. Toney needs to stop eating if he ever wants to become a heavyweight champion. He is too ****ing fat.

yup. i think he evens knows that. but if u can win fights and eat what u'd like, why not?

i still think he'd have an easier time at cruiserweight or even lightheavyweight. but there's no chance in that happening

I think he felt he needed the extra weight this time more than ever because Peter was 257.

He wouldnt need extra weight because peter was bigger.
He wasnt going to stand and trade with peter he was trying to elusive and slip big punches and counterpunch.
Had he been lighter, he would have been quicker and not gassed in the later rounds.

Im really starting to believe him when he says he needs the extra weight. You saw he was in pretty good shape against Guinn and Holyfield. I think if he feels he needs to be lighter to win then he will.

I agree, I'm saying thats what I think James thought. A below 230 Toney is what we need.

I can't believe you doubted James, man. This fight was easy work for Toney aside from 2 rounds.

i think he shouldn't be anymore than 220. he would move much better both offensive and defensively, his shoulder rolls and ducking would be smoother and his counter punching would be sharper. freddy roach is constantly worried about toney's weight, but james is too hard headed.
